Expanding production at one of their U.S. manufacturing sites, an international manufacturer and leader in compressed air solutions has retained Design Systems, Inc. to assist in planning for production and rate increases that are required to meet the growing demand. Adding a new production line and seeking to optimize the existing operations with lean engineering principles, Design Systems, Inc.’s manufacturing engineering team will look at all aspects of this facility, from material storage and dock utilization, containerization, line side part display, in plant material logistics and conveyor and material handling options that work best for this client, in their particular location.
